You play as The Last Gaiar, piloting a flying war machine that utilizes physics based weaponry. It is it's age, and it requires a small amount of technical fiddling to get it running properly, but it is an excellent game when you get your hands on it. The 15 minutes installing a patch and setting your mouse DPI to maximum are worth it. It's an underappreciated indie classic, and it's free now. Also Hammerfight is free on Steam so you can play it for free and make an opinion of it. They're quite different, all right, but they feel similar to me.
